"Digital World Little Citizens"

The "Digital World Litte Citizens" project is a comprehensive education project that aims to prevent the dangers that students face in the digital world and to develop digital citizenship skills. The project is designed to eliminate students' lack of knowledge with methods suitable for the digital age and to raise safe, conscious and effective individuals in the digital world. The project has a cross-curricular structure and workshops will be held in connection with the achievements of many courses. The main objectives of the project include informing students about digital citizenship, developing e-security awareness and making these trainings more interesting and interactive by taking them beyond traditional methods. In this direction, the project is shaped around four main themes: 1. Digital Citizenship and e-Security Theme: Students will be made aware of the digital world by focusing on topics such as digital footprint, e-security and digital education. 2. Gamification Theme: Game-based methods will be used to make learning more enjoyable and effective. Ƶing processes will be supported by digital games, individual and team assessments, interactive platforms (Interland, Wordwall, Code.org etc.) and collaboration games. 3. Pedagogy and Collaboration Theme: The studies that encourage collaboration between students using the eTwinning platform aim to increase students' competencies in various fields by developing interdisciplinary literacy and integrating innovative learning approaches. The workshops to be held will enable students to use innovative pedagogies in the classroom environment. 4. Technology and Design Theme: The inclusion of technological topics such as coding, algorithms and artificial intelligence in education will contribute to the development of students' problem-solving and design skills. This project aims to develop not only students' digital skills, but also their critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity (4C) competencies defined as 21st century skills. The "Digital World Little Citizens" project aims to educate students on the path to creating a conscious digital society with innovative and modern education methods.
