In this project we emphasize the challenges that teachers face during their work with students who have grown up with digital technology, and therefore learn and process the information differently from students before the digital age. We will try to emphasise that the educational gap between students – digital natives on one hand, and teachers – digital immigrants on the other, are the reasons why we fail to accomplish the educational goals. The education in the era of the Internet, social networks and interactive software has to overcome the absence of digital elements in the educational methodology. Therefore, we suggest some solutions and didactic directions for using web 2.0 elements in the educational process. We consider that these solutions and recommendations have to be implemented in the digital education of 21 century era.
