Our Project includes students between the ages of 7-11. Coding has a great importance in terms of students’ problem solving abilities, algrorithmic and creative thinking skills and mental development. The main purpose of our project is to carry out activities that will help the acquisition of coding skill, which is among the basic skills of the 21st century, in early childhood and enable children to learn coding while having fun. We are pretty sure that children’s interests will increase by they realize that we use coding in all areas of our lives, with coding activities to be carried out in six different areas, not just pixel coding. We are considering to use, among Web2 tools, Scratch and code.org.
