There is no time to waste as climate change is affecting, in one way or another, all of us. Each country has an ethical imperative to try to promote sustainable development policies. Without an ethical framework, countries will continue to seek their short-term economic gains, regardless of how this affects the common good. Education is an essential tool for a change, in particular, sensitizing our young people about the vulnerabilities resulting from climate change. As European citizens we could review the new EU growth strategy, we are trying to, not only have an impact on the climate, but also to create opportunities and competitive advantages on people’s life and economy. By doing so, we want to inspire others around the world to follow our example.
