Migration is a major political topic in the European Union. There is a discussion about migration policies. Spain, Hungary and Germany have different opinions about how to handle immigration to their countries. Many questions have not been solved yet e.g. immigrants keep on dying in the Mediterranean Sea, the Dublin Regulation fails. Also to our students, migration is an important topic. Not only one with which they are confronted in the media, their every day life is also affected. The students are surrounded by a constantly changing society. They live in a multicultural and multi faith society in Europe. Some have family members who have emigrated or immigrated, there are refugees at their school, foreign students are in their class.
