We live in the information age in which it is impossible to abstain from the benefits of the technology. We cannot even count the opportunities of it . The internet is a miraculous invention. It provides access to an unlimited treasure of knowledge. However, it might be a waste of time and may cause serious problems unless it is used properly. Especially for teenagers it might be very difficult to use the internet properly while they have the chance of reaching numerous tools of entertainment. When we examined the report from the counseling service of our school, we realized that internet addiction is one of the main factors which influences the students’ education negatively. It was found out that most of the students could not use their time efficiently because of their improper internet usage habits. Upon these findings, we have decided to build a project to fight internet addiction in teenagers.
