Be Cyber Smart (BeCS)

The Need to carry out this project Online bullying and SEN Disabled young people and young people with special educational needs are: • more likely to experience cyberbullying • less likely to be able to use the internet and • less likely to have support to use the internet. *Source: Anti-Bullying Alliance and University of Cambridge Online schooling and much easier access to devices has led to the sporadic development of the phenomenon of cyberbullying, especially on children with disabilities. The project will run for a period of two months, respectively December 2021 and January 2022, during which at least two workshops will be held with students on bullying and cyberbullying. The theme addressed in the two workshops must be represented by cyberbullying signals and strategies to counter cyberbullying.
