The Art in Nature project participated in the UNITY IN DIVERSITY partnership initiated by Relttaw Associates, the Professional Association of Teachers in Romania and around the world

     At the County Library "Petre Dulfu" Baia Mare, on March 25, 2025, took place an activity dedicated to women in STEM& astronomy. I participated with the students that I coordinated from "Emil Racoviță" Theoretical High School Baia Mare and the project partners, students from V-VIII classes of Valea Vinului Secondary School, jud. Satu Mare .
   The activity took place in the framework of the project "Women and Girls in Astronomy" organized by the International Astronomical Union (IAU). The International Astronomical Union (IAU) encourages activities with a special focus between the two international days adopted by the United Nations: International Women and Girls in Science Day on 11 February and International Women's Day on 8 March. During this period students discovered stories of women astronomers and we wanted to share them through posters, bookmarks . 
      The aim of the activity was to emphasize the importance of astronomy in our lives and to promote the achievements of outstanding women in this field, thus inspiring girls to pursue careers in STEM fields.
    The little ones also presented in English.  Full of curiosity we browsed through the science books provided by our hosts from the . They went through the quizzes in Romanian and in English on the theme of "Women and girls in astronomy". Try code 23898872. The important thing is to discover the names of women scientists.
