The report by the European Association of Service providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD) explores different ways in which knowledge can be created and shared to promote the transition from special education to inclusive education systems.

Its 16 case studies range from day-to-day knowledge-sharing initiatives within school communities to nationwide reforms of the formal education system. Based on the case studies, the report also identifies common challenges and key success factors that are part of the practical shift towards inclusive education. The report concludes with recommendations for different audiences in the areas of strategic policy, legislation, governance, funding, training and attitudinal approaches.
