Scoil Náisiúinta Bhríde is primary school located in Clane, Co. Kildare. Clane is an urban and ever-growing commuter town, about 35 minutes away from our capital city, Dublin.
Our school caters for about 520 girls from Junior Infants to Sixth Class (5 – 12 year olds). We have 21 mainstream class teachers, 2 AS Class teachers, 4.5 SET, 6 SNAs (3 mainstream and 3 in our ASD class), I walking principal, 2 secretaries and a caretaker. We have a diverse school community from all over the world.
The girls are taught all curricular areas including Literacy, Maths, Irish, Science, History, Geography, The Arts, PE and SPHE.
We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities after school, such as homework club, gymnastics, choir, Speech and Drama class, Gaelic football and camogie, soccer and art club.
We are always striving for the best for our students and staff. We have participated in many initiatives and projects such as Green Schools, Active Schools, Restorative Practice, the Amber Flag project, The Challenge To Change project and Student Council. Our aim is to equip our students with life-long skills so that they can be prepared for the future.
