About
Who are we?
The students are from the age of 3 to 14.. Our school children are from different origins (Romanian, Rromi and Hungarian). We work also with students with multiple disabilities.630 pupils (some of them with problematic family background) study in our school, with 60 years of experience. Fifty teachers work with these students and give their best to prepare the children for the future and reach their full intellectual and social potential. And we also have ten non-teaching stuff.
The school curriculum follows the Ministery od Education’s Preschool, Primary and Secondary Programme but it has been enriched with many extracurricular activities. We have different school subjects which include Romanian, English, French, Romani, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Science, Art, Physical Education, Religious Studies.
Pedagogical interests in our school:
-Fight school droupout by restoring the desire to learn
-Facilitate assessment by skills and diferentiation with individualized monitoring of skills
-Encourange and value initiatives and personal work (with quests)
-Minimize the fear of failure and put the mistake at the heart of learning
-Strengthen autonomy, mutual help with work by objective (personal and group)
-Facilitate remediation process by peers
-Enhance progress throughout the quarter rather than one-off performance
-exit the sanction system and strengthen self-esteem throught valorization
