Who are we?
The high school is situated in southeastern part of Romania, in Vrancea county, an important viticultural area. The wine from Odobesti is very well known in all Romania, in Europe, too. This town is a very old one and it has an important historical signification.
The first educational institution in Odobesti was established in 1855 with a few students. Now, the high school is a public one, in which about 1000 students are institutionalized in 40 classes. The students are from 6 to 19 years old and they learn in two shifts, the classes last from 7.30 to 18.00. The students from the upper secondary level chose one of the three profiles: philology, natural sciences or mathematics and computer science. From 10 years old to the graduation, each student learns English and French, these two belonging to the common core.
