"Dr. Petar Beron" is an primary school located in the central part of the second largest city in Bulgaria. A total of 415 children aged from 5 to 13 are educated at "Dr. Petar Beron". They are divided into 19 classes from preparatory group to 7th grade. We have 12 children with special educational needs. Our school also has a number of gifted students with achievements in regional, national and international competitions. Our school is among the most desirable educational institutions in our city. We offer advanced English language learning to our students. We also form classes each school year in dance, music, art, drama, Lego programming, Japanese culture and Spanish. We also provide a variety of sports for our students - basketball, soccer, field hockey, table tennis, and tennis.
We, as teachers, are open to new ideas and methods to improve the learning process and school atmosphere. We want to exchange experiences with colleagues from other schools and other countries. We would be happy to start a shared project with other schools with similar features on the E-twinning platform.
We have an Erasmus+ project approved for grant funding, Key Activity 1, School Education Sector. The project period is from 01.12.2023 to 30.09.2024.
The objectives of the project are:
1. Developing 21st century skills to achieve effective learning and teaching
2. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
3. Increase the level of language competences of teachers for successful participation in international projects
