About
Who are we?
Atlas Language School provides a range of English-language courses to all types of learners, including fully-funded Erasmus+ KA1 training courses for people working in educational institutes. We pride ourselves on giving students a personalised learning experience and encourage them to be actively involved in planning their learning journey.
Erasmus+ KA1
We provide a range of Erasmus+-funded staff mobility KA1 courses, aimed at all types of staff working in primary and secondary schools and VET colleges and our DELTA-trained teachers focus on providing participants with practical ready-to-use ideas. We also place a great emphasis on participants digging deeper into Irish culture, via safe discussion in our lessons and the social programme outside the classroom. Courses last for either 1 or 2 weeks and various accommodation options are available for participants throughout their stay.
The courses we currently offer are:
English for Higher Education Professionals (Academics or Administrators)
Language, Methodology and Culture
Sustainability and the Environment in Education
Digital Transitions
CLIL
General English Training
Erasmus + KA2
Our main aim is to catalyse positive change in the English Language Teaching Industry. Our main two areas of focus are environmental sustainability and social inclusion.
We aim to develop our knowledge and skills and get involved with partners and projects related to environmental sustainability, and hope to use our experience in Education to make waves in this direction. Indeed, one of our current key partners is the Low Carbon Economy Foundation, based out of Valencia, Spain.
As for social inclusion, we’re particularly keen on finding ways to ‘level-up’ young people from disadvantaged groups, especially in the areas of language-learning and literacy (for L1 and foreign languages). One area we’re keenly focusing on at the moment is on making language learning more inclusive for learners with DYS (dyslexia, dysgraphia and dysphasia).
Through the Erasmus+ KA2 programme, we hope to develop an extensive network of relationships with like-minded partners and collaborate via discussions, working groups and projects. If your goals align with ours, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
