Tamara Pribisev Beleslin

Tamara Pribišev Beleslin, Ph.D., holds a Chair for Pedagogy and Teaching Methodology, is a full professor at the Study Program for Early Childhood Education at Faculty of Philosophy, University of Banja Luka. Her research and expert interests are pedagogy in early childhood, the preschool curriculum issues, ICT and mathematics in the early childhood education, and the teachers' professional development. She coordinated a scientific research project: Contemporary approaches to Methodics of mathematics education in early childhood. Other scientific projects: Growing up digitally; and Media literacy – broadening the literacy competencies (overcoming the information overload).
Tamara Pribišev Beleslin has been a member of many expert groups working with governmental institutions in the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina concerning act of preschool education, national curriculum, pedagogical documentation and policy in early childhood education. She has the experiences in doing quantitative and qualitative scientific research, and prefers qualitative approaches. Tamara Pribišev Beleslin, as university professor, has good skills in information dissemination, presenting the scientific projects in oral and written form, as well as, skills for working and communicating with people in teams. She had worked as a higher assistant on courses within the social work sciences for several years (Social work with groups and Social work with disability) she has experiences in working with groups of children and people with disability, their families and NGO sector. In 2018 she gained a plaque for specific achievements in the field of ECE for children with intelectual disability.
She has published several scientific monographs and more than 20 scientific and professional papers in journals and proceedings in their native language and English. She has exhibited her research and papers on many international conferences in her country, region and abroad, and was a member of scientific board on several international conferences.
