Prosperi Catia

My name is Catia and I am a teacher of Spanish Language and Culture at the Fermi Da Vinci Institute, where I have been teaching since September 2002. That same year, I moved from the Marche region to Tuscany, and I currently live in Empoli, in the province of Florence.

In addition to Spanish, I also teach English, and I hold a Conservatory Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree) in flute performance. Music has always been one of my greatest passions, along with languages and travels.

I play in several musical ensembles and travel whenever I can, especially to Spain, a country I deeply love and often visit for both personal and professional reasons. I regularly organize study trips to various Spanish cities, to give my students the opportunity to experience the language and culture firsthand.

I’m a curious person and always eager to explore new educational approaches. I’m interested in sharing and exchanging teaching experiences and practices, and I am currently looking for an eTwinning project that could enrich my teaching, open up new perspectives, and above all, motivate and inspire my students.
