Purpose of this project Teaching students how math and art are related. Exploring the aesthetic aspects of mathematical concepts. To produce original works of art using mathematical concepts. Encouraging creative thinking with geometry and patterns. Transforming abstract mathematical concepts (e.g. symmetry, ratio, fractal) into concrete art projects. Examination of the role of mathematical order, proportion and symmetry in art. To enable students to see the balance between artistic aesthetics and mathematical accuracy.
