The inspiration for this project are TREES, which we see through our windows every day, we walk past them and we do not wonder how valuable role they play in our lives. It’s time to stop for a moment, rub, touch and observe together with students, reflect and try to answer the question - why are trees so important for humans? In this project we would like also to introduce the problem of climate change in order to raise awareness among the students. In the face of the challenges of the global climate crisis, environmental degradation, and deforestation, access to reliable climate education is especially needed. Raising awareness of the effects of climate change and ways of mitigating and adapting to changing climate realities is the thirteenth goal on the list of sustainable development goals adopted by the United Nations. During the project, teachers encourage their students to do some activities connected with the project.
