Ecological education is one of the goals targeted by government policies and strategies worldwide. Environmental protection is a priority in the contemporary world, as reflected in the Lisbon Strategy and the Sustainable Development Strategy of the European Union, endorsed through the acceptance of the principles of the UNESCO Earth Charter. Schools, through their moral authority, can substantially contribute to students acquiring knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to a healthy environment. They can shape pre-university graduates to adopt appropriate behaviors in the face of current anthropogenic impact and help them realize the necessity of rational use, conservation, and protection of the environment at local, regional, and global levels. The project's goal is to increase the direct and responsible involvement of students in various ecological activities, as well as to promote the activities carried out by students through the Erasmus Vet projects in which they are involved.
