Natural, technological and human-based events that cause physical, economic, social and environmental losses on people and human settlements and affect communities by stopping or interrupting normal life and human activities. The negative consequences of the disaster are a significant danger not only for humans but also for other living things and their habitats. Existing dangers brought by disasters cannot be prevented, but our capacity to cope can be increased by minimizing the damages that may arise. For this reason, we have planned our project in order to create disaster awareness in our students, to encourage positive behaviors, to be affected by the dangers that may occur and to minimize the loss of life and property. We have included a disaster issue in our work calendar every month in order to teach individuals the right behaviors to be taken before, during and after disasters for frequently seen disasters.
