LifeComp into Action: a guide for teaching life skills in the classroom and beyond

The LifeComp framework describes nine life skills that everyone can hone through formal and non-formal education to build a meaningful life and cope with complexity. A new guide helps teachers to nurture these life skills in their classroom.

LifeComp in Brief

outlines nine competences in three areas:

  1. Personal (Self-regulation, Flexibility and Wellbeing)
  2. Social (Empathy, Communication and Collaboration)
  3. Ƶing to Ƶ (Growth Mindset, Critical Thinking and Managing Ƶing)

Intentionally promoting these competences through education boosts learners’ academic success, life satisfaction and employability.
