Dr. Cynthia TOMASUOLO M.A., LL.D Graduated as Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta in 2005. Graduated B.A. (Law and Theology) in 2002 Obtained the Diploma of a Notary Public in 2003. Furthered studies at the University of Malta and was awarded, a Master’s degree in Human Rights and Democratization, submitting a thesis entitled "The Right to a Pre-emptive War". Admitted to the Maltese Bar and since then practiced litigation in the Courts of Malta and Gozo. Areas of specialization are Family, Civil, and Immigration Law. Holds the position of non-executive Director. Very active in the social field and provides assistance and pro-bono legal representation in collaboration with Local NGOs in the Maltese Island Within SFE Malta she heads the EU Projects Division as well as the Legal Unit.
