The “R. Levi-Montalcini – G. Ferraris”, Saviano-Marigliano Secondary Grade II Institute (about 20 km from Naples) is organized around two neighbouring municipalities: Saviano and Marigliano. In both municipalities also live families of African, Romanian, Polish and Ukrainian origin. There is still a feeling of opposition between the parties that hinders the development of the territory. However the school represents an important point of cultural aggregation, inclusion and integration, as well as a social steering wheel capable of contributing to cultural growth, social and economic development of both villages. The school prepares and implements activities that promote integration between the students of the two municipalities, the development of civic sense of belonging and the enhancement and enhancement of language skills, with particular reference to Italian and the English language and other languages of the European Union. In our Secondary Grade II Institute there are about 800 students and more than 100 teachers who teach in seven different day and evening (for adult people) courses of studies: 1) Commercial Services, 2) Health and Social Care Services, 3) Scientific High School, 4) Biomedical Scientific High School, 5) Maintenance and Technical Assistance, 6) Auxiliar professions: Optical, 7) Made in Italy Industry and Handicraft.
