About

Who are we?

"The Enchanted House," the name of our kindergarten, reflects our strong belief that we are able to provide children with a magical childhood.
Our kindergarten is located in a small town in the heart of Transylvania, with a population of approximately 15,328 inhabitants.
We have 436 preschoolers enrolled, aged between 2-6 years, whose well-being is ensured by 43 educators, 1 director, and 28 members of non-teaching and administrative staff.
There are 6 Senior Groups, 5 Junior Groups, 5 Intermediate Groups, 4 Mixed Groups, and 3 Nursery Groups.

The children come from diverse family backgrounds and have varied social backgrounds. We also have groups with Hungarian language teaching as we promote and support cultural diversity.
Our kindergarten is also attended by children with special educational needs (SEN), learning difficulties, or those coming from disadvantaged environments.
In this respect, we constantly strive to integrate them and offer them a real chance for education and a normal life by adapting the national curriculum to their specific educational needs.

The kindergarten operates under the National Curriculum, and educational activities are carried out through three types of activities:
- Personal development activities
- Experiential domain activities
- Games and freely chosen activities

These aim at the holistic development of children.

Moreover, in addition to mandatory activities, we conduct extracurricular activities in collaboration with families and the local community. We also run optional programs to extend or deepen preschoolers' knowledge, such as:
- "Fantasy through art and movement"
- English is fun!
- "How to grow up healthy"
- "The wonderful world of stories"

We are actively involved in various local, county, and national educational projects, such as:
- Bringing tradition to life
- Preschoolers can protect their lives
- The garden of relaxation, peace, and learning
- The planet is our home - Association Ovidiu Ro
- The National Education Program for Values: "Play, Respect, and Joy"

The educational environment we build is based on professional and dedicated educators, the active involvement of parents, and the support of the local community.
Since we know that the only certainty is change, we always seek to enrich and expand our knowledge and experiences.
