I graduated from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering with a degree in Computer Engineering and Informatics. I work as a teacher of IT group of subjects (Programming, Object-oriented programming, Web programming, Computer systems and Application of computers) in high school in the IT department with students gifted for computer science (aged 15-18). In my teaching practice I seek to develop my students' digital competencies through project-oriented teaching while encouraging their analytical and critical thinking skills and their ability for problem solving. I teach my students not only to be consumers but also creators of digital content, for what they are rewarded at different national and international competitions. As a member of the Pedagogical Society of Informatics in Serbia, I'm institutionally committed to improving the quality of IT education. I'm a member of the working group of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development for the redefinition of IT content in primary and secondary schools. I am also in charge of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Manuscript Assessment of Textbooks for Computing and Informatics. I am eTwinning ambassador, as well as the ambassador of the Erasmus + program for Serbia. Within the eTwinning network I provide training and support to teachers, educators and professional associates both at the national and European level. I am also one of the Scientix ambassadors for Serbia, the science community for the promotion of STEM education in Europe. I am a member of the National Steering Committee for Science on Stage for Serbia. I am EU Code Week Leading teacher for Serbia. I am the winner of national awards and recognitions such as "Digital Class". I am also the winner of the "eSkills for Jobs 2016 - Outstanding digital skills developer" competition by the European Commission for excellence in digital skills through extensive use of ICT in teaching, an innovative way of developing students' digital skills and a cross-curricular approach to teach digital skills. I received national recognition and the title of Best Educator of Serbia for 2021.
