Move, Touch, Create: A Psychomotor Approach to Letter Ƶing

This eTwinning project aims to implement a multisensory, psychomotor-based approach to letter acquisition for students with special needs. Traditional methods of teaching letters often rely on visual and repetitive writing, which can be challenging for these learners. Instead, we will integrate a three-step learning process (Experience – Manipulate – Represent) to ensure full body involvement, sensory exploration, and active engagement. Through collaboration, teachers and therapists will design interactive lessons where students experience letters physically, manipulate them through movement-based activities, and represent them creatively before transitioning to writing.
