Developing intercultural communicative competences is at the heart of English language education. In this project, student teachers of English will learn how virtual exchange projects can be used to create authentic opportunities for speaking and writing and how children can be motivated to learn languages. Throughout the project, students will gain an insight into the design of cross-cultural learning environments in English language education. Using an exchange project as an example, we will work together to develop practical ideas for a series of lessons and introduce the Erasmus+ network eTwinning. The project is aimed in particular at students of English who would like to gain an insight into the design of globally networked exchange projects using TwinSpaces.
