This projects aims to educate students about gender equality. Students will be encouraged to talk and write about important women in their lives. First, they will refer to women in their family (mother, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, female ancestors…). They will highlight these women’s achievements and why they are important. Then, they will be invited to learn more about several aspects (historical, cultural, social…) of women’s lives in the past and compare them to the present, by researching about their female ancestors (great-grandmothers or even before). Finally, they will research about important women in the history of their countries.
