eTwinning project for student teachers: Citizens International Are One – CIAO23

This eTwinning project is aimed at student teachers who will become primary and secondary school teachers in the future. The project allows student teachers to experience the benefits of eTwinning first-hand and thereby prepares them for making use of eTwinning with their pupils once they start working in a school.
The student teachers work in teams to share and cooperate on lesson plans relating to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to promote cross-cultural learning and understanding of SDGs in education.
Furthermore, they elaborate on information about how SDGs are incorporated into their respective educational systems and explore diverse viewpoints on the importance of SDGs to education and teachers in various countries.
This joint effort aims to develop a comprehensive approach to promoting the message of SDGs among student teachers and empowering them to contribute to its realisation in their communities.
