This course empowers educators to create inclusive learning environments by celebrating students’ strengths and abilities. Through creative projects, educators learn how to support well-being, build confidence, and encourage student participation. Led by Rachel Bennett, a British specialist in inclusive education with over 25 years of experience, the course combines practical activities with reflection to help participants develop strategies for inclusive teaching. Activities explore communication techniques, community collaboration, and creative approaches to enhance accessibility. Participants visit Icelandic schools to observe inclusive practices and develop action plans tailored to their settings. With a focus on well-being, creativity, and cultural immersion, the course fosters an understanding of how inclusive strategies can promote growth and engagement for all learners.
