Outdoor Ƶing
This Erasmus+ Course provides an experiential programme where our participants will be introduced to outdoor learning activities, digital Apps connected to Outdoor learning and the opportunity for sharing and networking with colleagues interested in ways of teaching outside of the classroom’s walls.
Description
Outdoor Education is one of the most innovative educational approaches not only in the European context, but also worldwide. Unfortunately, the new generations of children and youth have fewer opportunities for direct and authentic experiences in nature, making outdoor education a good solution to the challenge of reconnection to the natural world. Moreover, the outdoor experience can be extremely motivating and can create great opportunities for meaningful learning experiences, both for students and for teachers if the activities are carefully chosen and applied.
Through learning curricular subjects outdoors, our students will be able to grow social and personal skills and develop a sense of wonder and responsibility for the natural world.
The goal of this is to equip participants with tools, ideas, and practical knowledge on how to organise outdoor education in various contexts and how to incorporate outdoor learning into their teaching.

Methodology & assessment
Classes will be taught in a very practical way based on the “learning by doing” principle which is expected to stimulate attendees to make use of the newly acquired information.
An evaluation questionnaire will be given to the participants to gather participants’ opinions about the training and its contents, logistic organisation, instructors, materials provided and asses to which extent the course managed to improve participants’ competences in the field of interactive and innovative teaching.
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
will be used to design activities related to different School Subjects.
Certification details
At the end of the course, each participant will be awarded a certificate of attendance.This certificate will include the necessary details: a short description of the course, dates, the venue, the name of the course provider and information of the participant. For the Europass Mobility the participants must ask their national agency to issue it and we will help with completing it. Ƶing Agreement will be provided.

Cancellation & changes:
If the cancellation is up to 4 weeks before the course starts - free of charge.
Between 4 to 2 weeks - cancellation fee is 150.00 €.
Less than 2 weeks - cancellation is not possible, but the change of the date, course, destination or participant is accepted.
We reserve the right to cancel an already confirmed course in case of cancellations which affect the minimum number of the participants, but not less than 4 weeks before the start of the course. Then, the paid course fee is fully refunded.
