Description

Mindfulness and meditation are essential tools for enhancing well-being, promoting inclusion, and fostering active participation in a thriving classroom and society. In this course, you will gain hands-on experience with scientifically-backed mindfulness practices, all while exploring Iceland’s unique cultural heritage and emphasis on sustainability. From guided mindfulness walks to body scans and relaxation exercises, each activity is tailored to integrate seamlessly into busy teaching schedules, allowing you to benefit yourself and inspire your students.

You will experience how focusing on the process rather than the result can foster deeper satisfaction, concentration, and connection for both teachers and students.

With a focus on Iceland’s holistic educational approach, you’ll observe how outdoor activities, digital tools, and democratic engagement are prioritised at all stages of learning in Iceland, providing an inspiring model to bring back to your school community.
