This course empowers teachers with mindfulness and CBT techniques to enhance emotional regulation in schools. Participants will learn to recognize, understand, and manage emotions in themselves and their students, fostering a positive classroom environment. The course explores the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, offering practical strategies to promote EI.
Description
This 6-day course equips educators with the tools to manage emotional regulation in both themselves and their students. Participants will explore the role of emotional regulation in learning and classroom dynamics, and learn to identify and manage emotional triggers using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques like the ABC model. Through interactive discussions and role-playing, teachers will gain skills to teach emotional awareness, coping strategies, and conflict resolution. The course emphasizes integrating emotional regulation into daily classroom routines and designing lesson plans that promote emotional intelligence. Additionally, educators will focus on managing their own emotional responses and preventing burnout, fostering a healthy, supportive learning environment for both students and teachers.

- Understand the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in emotional regulation.
- Recognize emotional dysregulation in students and how it impacts learning and behavior.
- Apply CBT techniques to help students identify and manage their emotions.
- Teach students how to challenge unhelpful thoughts and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages emotional awareness and regulation.
- Develop strategies for managing their own emotional responses to classroom stressors.
Methodology & assessment
Observations of participation in discussions, group activities, and practical exercises.
Self-Assessment:
Participants reflect on their learning through daily journals or feedback forms.
Peer Feedback:
Encourage constructive critiques during group presentations.
Evaluation procedures:
The evaluation will take place in the hosting organization and will be conducted
by teacher trainers at the end of the course.
Recognition conditions:
At least 80% course attendance
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
The trainer will prepare digital and printed materials (presentations, assignments, case studies, etc.) to organize the course. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops to facilitate easier course participation. The trainer will provide all other necessary materials.
Certification details
Participants who attend at least 80% of the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance either on Friday or Saturday.

Cancellation & changes:
1. Re-scheduling to any of our courses in any Academy within the next 12 months;
2. Any other colleague may take your place and use the already paid fee without any additional costs.
Cancellations must be notified by e-mail.
For cancellations communicated at least 4 weeks before the start of the course, we will retain 30% of the course cost.
For cancellations communicated in the last 4 weeks before the start of the course, the full amount will be retained.
