LEADERHIP AND INITIATIVE - THE CORNER STONES OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN THE CLASSROOM 5 DAYS
This course is aimed at teachers and all those who want to learn about initiative, leadership, coaching and gamification in order to develop entrepreneurship competences of their learners. The course will focus on the biological, psychological and social aspects of motivation and leadership. Participants are expected to have at least B1 level of English proficiency.
Description
The course consists of 25 didactic hours and includes the following modules:
- Introduction of participants, warm ups and ice breakers, outline of the programme
- Introduction to entrepreneurship as one of the key competences of 21st century
- Psychology of motivation and initiative, gamification as a motivation approach
- Introduction to leadership, leadership chemicals, practical workshop on leadership, leadership styles
- Individual support
- Presentation of outcomes, discussion, evaluation and closing session
- Teambuilding and networking activities
- City tour or a cultural trip

- Overview of entrepreneurship education practices.
- Understanding of the psychology of motivation and initiative.
- Understanding of gamification as a motivation approach.
- Understanding biological, psychological and social aspects of leadership and the ability to recognize, adopt and facilitate different leadership styles.
- Developing communication, collaboration, presentation, problem solving, negotiation, critical and creative thinking skills.
- Providing and exercising creative ideas and practical resources for successful leadership and initiative skills in education.
- Improving English fluency (official language of the course).
- Promoting intercultural awareness.
- Sharing experiences of entrepreneurship education from different organizations in order to help each of us to be more effective in our work.
- Strengthening the European collaboration among people interested in entrepreneurship in education in different contexts.
Methodology & assessment

All the materials will be made available to the participants in digital form upon completion of the course.
Certification details
Certificate includes the topic, dates and location of the course. We can list the record of learning outcomes on the Europass Mobility Document on request of participants.

Course package content:
The course fee includes tution and materials for the course. Accommodation, meals and transportation are not included and participants are expected to organize and cover for these expenses by themselves. We do not charge anything extra apart from the 400 EUR course fee.

Cancellation & changes:
Free cancellation up to 30 days before the start. After that, the reservation is not refundable. Changes in name and profile of the participant are possible any time before the start of the course. In case of extraordinary circumstances we will offer a free re-schedualing to be used within 6 months.
