
General English for Educators and Administrative Staff
This course serves to provide basic English language skills for educators and administrative staff who have little to no prior knowledge of English (A0-A2 and B1 level). Its purpose is to enable education professionals to communicate in everyday situations, understand simple instructions, and engage in basic professional interactions in English.
Description
This intensive English course is designed for different levels: absolute beginners, elementary-level learners and intermediate level in the education sector. Scheduled across 6 days with 5 days of instruction and 1 day for evaluation, the program progresses systematically from basic introductions to simple past tense communication. Each day focuses on a specific theme (introducing yourself, talking about yourself, daily activities, and talking about the past), building vocabulary and grammar incrementally. The course includes an outdoor activities day to provide practical language application in real-world contexts.

- 1.Enhance basic English communication skills: Develop foundational speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities suitable for A0, A1, and B1 levels;
- 2.Expand vocabulary and grammar knowledge:Build topic-specific vocabulary, including jobs, family, nationalities, daily routines, and life event and learn essential grammatical structures;
- 3. Improve practical communication for everyday scenarios: Gain confidence in handling everyday situations( talking about family, describing routines, and sharing past experiences);
- 4.Strengthen pronunciation and spelling: Master the English alphabet and common spelling conventions;
- 5.Foster cultural awareness and social interaction: Discuss free-time activities, food preferences, and cultural topics to build rapport with others;
- 6.Encourage reflective learning and continuous improvement: Support participants in identifying areas for further improvement and ongoing language learning.
Methodology & assessment
Participants will engage in instructor-led sessions to introduce key concepts, vocabulary, and grammar. These sessions will include examples, explanations, and demonstrations.
Group activities and pair work:
Collaborative tasks such as role-playing, dialogues, and group discussions will encourage peer learning and practice of conversational skills.
Practical exercises:
Practicing spelling, pronunciation, and using numbers and addresses, will help participants apply what they have learned in real-world contexts.
Outdoor learning:
Participants will practice language skills in an informal setting,
Use of visual aids and multimedia:
Teaching will incorporate visual aids (charts, flashcards) and multimedia (audio recordings, videos) to enhance understanding and retention.
Feedback and reflection:
Regular opportunities for feedback during sessions will help participants understand their progress and areas for improvement.
