TEACHING BEYOND THE CLASSROOM supports students' well-being, engagement, motivation and learning.
Erasmus-courses in Denmark – we look forward to welcoming you.
In the course “Beyond the Classroom: Exploring Nature, Culture, and Art,” you will have the opportunity to experience education beyond the traditional classroom setting.
Description
This course is designed for educators and teachers who want to improve their teaching methods by incorporating museums, nature, and urban environments into their lessons. By moving education beyond the classroom, we support students’ well-being, engagement, motivation and learning.
The course will take place in various locations, allowing you to engage with professional visual arts, work in nature, and explore the Wadden Sea. It will emphasize “Playful Ƶing” -encouraging a playful approach to teaching. You will also create assignments based on what the city has to offer, gaining inspiration for including different subjects into your lessons.
During the five days, you will gain new skills, tools, and inspiration for your teaching and communication methods. The course also offers the chance to build a European network by connecting with the other participants.
