Wings and Wheels is an eTwinning project that brings together teenage students and their teachers from several European countries to explore the fascinating realms of holidays, tourism, and travel while at the same time focusing on issues such as overtourism, the impact of tourism on local communities, environmental conservation, sustainability, ways to minimize the ecological footprint during travel, cultural preservation. This project encourages cross-cultural understanding, research, collaboration and creative thinking while addressing critical issues related to responsible tourism.
