The Way to El Camino is a liaison project between two Post Primary Schools: IES Escultor Daniel in Logroño, Spain, and Colaiste Na Riochta in Listowel, Ireland. The two schools will work on walking El Camino from Tralee in Ireland and continuing in Logroño. Students will create a connection with teachers and students. They will start with pen pal letters where students from both schools will talk about themselves and the place they are from. The project has a historically common point: "El Camino", and they will work on different common topics between the two different regions of two different countries. They will discuss common problems : such as Covid 19, climate change, and they will also learn about differences between their culture and lifestyle: rural Ireland and living in a city in Spain. Teachers and students will discover the magic of similarities and the joy in learning the differences in the two centres.
