This project is based on the Eric Carle's book "A very hungry caterpillar". We will read and work through the story at the same time. We will use Twinspace for a comparision in English language. We will create activities (drawing, music, role play, a puppet theatre etc ) about the story and share our activities with each other. We will learn about new English vocabulary: food, days of the week, butterfly life cycle (making flashcards, memory games, picture dictionary) We are going to know the most popular butterflies in our countries. We will present them ( Big book of European butterflies). We will organize an art competition "Butterflies in folk patterns". As a summary all activities we will organize "The Butterfly Day" - a fancy dress party connected with an exhibition.
