Project "Towers, towers, towers - we get to know our surroundings is about towers around us. The aim of the project will be to disseminate the knowledge of European cultural heritage, diversity and act for the community. The project was developed on the basis of identified educational needs of students. As a measurable effect, after completion, the skills of intercultural communication, understanding and respect for diversity, skills of work in an international team, as well as developing language skills and digital skills of our school and students from the German school are expected to increase. In addition, students will develop an album on the subject of towers and prepare multimedia presentations on the same topic. During the implementation of the project, we will implement and promote innovative educational methods, which indirectly activate students, encourage greater activity and participation in the learning process, and also allow the acquisition of the skills of critical thinking and solving problems. The students will take part in pedagogical and intercultural preparation regarding the cultural heritage of the region as well as the creation and maintenance of community between the groups. Students will participate in educational classes and trips regarding the culture of important cultures with towers in Poland, especially in our region. As part of the topic of the project, towers from various materials, visit places related to towers in the area. All activities will be documented on an ongoing basis using photographs and video recordings.We will see similarities and differences in the celebrations of different holidays and the function of the towers. It will also promote increased intercultural integration and understanding for other cultures by learning about our culture and lifestyle. At the end, students will prepare a presentation on the geographical and historical conditions of our countries, their most important monuments and related history. In addition, they will deepen the subject of towers, their significance in the history of the country and in contemporary life.
