During this project we intend to raise the awareness of the cultural and social changes that are taking place in our countries because of migration. Besides we wish to meet the challenges of a multicultural society. Firstly, we want to become aware that migration has always taken place. Thus a lot of our parents came from different countries and so a lot of us have a migrational background. It is not a new phenomenon and not one that has to frighten us. Their contribution to our daily European life is a very rich one. At present, a lot of refugees are coming to our countries as a result of wars in their home countries. We want to contact them and to get to know them, in order to lose our reservations. Especially children are suffering from this situation and need our support. After all, in a peaceful Europe we should understand, tolerate and appreciate people who are different from us (at first sight).
