In November each class will study the story " Stone soup" in one's mother tongue. During December students will have different activities in order to get familiar with the story in a foreign language. Such as : -listening to the story, -learning new expressions, -drawing the settings using their own imaginations. -retelling the story- teachers record students performance and share on Etwinning ( Only students voice will be recorded. Using kids drawing about the setting it will be a cartoon.) At the end of January, each class will send others a rewritten story with kids drawing in English or /and one's mother tongue, and in Russian. e-book In March each class studies "Jack and the Beanstalk" in one's mother tongue, in English. During April and May, students get familiar with the story by listening, retelling, Students will make puppets and act out the story. Teachers record the play and share with others on eTwinning.
