Children experience different feelings and emotions: from joy and excitement to anger and frustration. The project “A Rainbow of Emotions” is designed to support the young learners’ emotional development by helping them realise that we all experience different mental states and there are different ways of dealing with them. The main theme of the project and the activities have been inspired by a book “The Colour Monster '' by a Spanish author Anna Llenas. The children are going to explore the topic of emotions and feelings by working with the book, participating in workshops, by drama, songs, arts and craft, coding, STEAM activities and games. Additionally, they are expected to enrich their English vocabulary and develop cultural awareness.
