Culture is one of the most important building blocks reflecting the identity and way of life of societies. Every community has its unique traditions, foods, games, clothing, and language. Within the scope of this project, students will both get to know and introduce their own cultures and explore the diversity across the world by encountering different cultures. In the project, students will prepare short videos to present their cities, local dishes, traditional clothing, regional games, and the language they speak. Each school will create videos showcasing their cultural elements and share them on digital platforms with partner schools. Students will watch videos from other schools to learn about different cultures, observing similarities and differences, thereby developing cultural awareness. Through this process, students will experience the joy of sharing their cultural values and simultaneously develop empathy and tolerance toward other lifestyles. The videos will also support students’ communication, observation, and presentation skills as well as enhance their creativity and digital literacy. At the end of the project, all contributions will be compiled into a shared digital exhibition, accessible to everyone. Additionally, throughout the project, students will learn and practice local games, contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage and building common bonds through the culture of games.
