Children from different countries explore nature through sound. They will listen to local natural sounds like birdsong, rain, wind, flowing rivers, and express them creatively through body percussion, instruments, voices, and movement.

"Nature hears us - and we hear it?"

Children will explore the sounds of nature in their own countries: birdsong, rustling leaves, raindrops, flowing streams, and insect sounds. They will try to recreate these sounds using their voices, musical instruments, natural materials, and body percussion or dance improvisation. Creativity will be encouraged by combining these sounds into short sound stories or songs. We will also explore the emotional connection with nature: What emotions do different nature sounds evoke? What does “sadness in the rain” or “joy in the sunshine” sound like?
