My city in the museum is a multi-year school project that, as an eTwinning project, is gaining an international level. The project aims to popularize the role of the museum in the local community, especially among school students, and to contribute to greater inclusion of museums in educational curricula. Visiting the museum raises awareness of the importance of museum education in modern times, which contributes to the long-term integration of cultural education into society. Museum education builds local and national identity and develops understanding and a tolerant attitude towards different cultures. The project partners will present the wealth of the city's museums, cultural and historical landmarks of the city while noting the similarities and differences between nations, which will raise awareness of the values of cultural heritage at the European level.
