Children spend a large part of their time at school, which becomes a key place to foster general well-being, including social, physical and emotional aspects, in inclusive and equitable contexts. In order for each student to develop in an integral and harmonious way, the school therefore assumes a very important role in the creation of projects that promote the well-being of each child as an individual and collective being, in a society in constant change. In this context, it is intended that the project «The Little Citizens» motivates the development of children as reflective, critical, creative and entrepreneurial citizens, as an integral part of the community of which they are part. It is important that pupils show skills and acquire knowledge that encourages them to collaborate dynamically in initiatives that promote collaborative work, which imply the adoption of a responsible attitude on the part of each of the stakeholders, based on the well-being of all and the exchange between the school, families and the local community, as well as environmental, economic and social sustainability. This project aims to establish bridges that stimulate the sharing and implementation of diversified activities between classes, schools and the countries involved, through an innovative and inclusive pedagogy, based on project work and using technologies, arts and initiatives that promote healthy lifestyle habits and solidarity attitudes.
