“LET`S HELP CHILDREN FROM VULNERABLE GROUPS” by Using IT technology and building up bridges to increase children`s motivation from vulnerable groups!

Main activities refer to the implementation of the modern strategies, active-participatory to promote and increase awareness of the existence of vulnerable groups through outreach events that organizing exhibitions, conferences, workshops, excursions, visits and exchange best practices in social matters AND to the implementation of the IT in their lives as a doorways to a new life/to different cultures/to a good and new future. We will create a permanent day center to offer opportunities to children to develop their abilities of using IT technologies and English language by a settled schedule and we need The project aims and institutional development and capacity development of the NGO advocacy campaigns success / acceptance of public policies proposed by NGOs by government institutions because by developing it will be in measure to support children education especially by using modern technology, IT, in extracurricular activities initiate by our NGO in many schools. Project partner(the first because we intend to do this project in many schools) is an educational institution, Secondary School "Gheorghe Popescu" Margineni-Slobozia, institution whose children come from families with disastrous financial situation. The project's target group consists of 100 children, teachers, parents of children in the target group. The 100 children are children with parents abroad, at risk of abandonment or neglect; children with disabilities; children with special educational needs school dropout prone; uneducated children prone to dropout; Children from families with disastrous financial statements; Children with very bad results at school. We are sure that our project is important because the main aim of the project is to address the need of the pupils and so the major motivation to is to make our students work actively those contents that they normally study at school from a theoretical point of view. The work on the project will bring some fresh air into the learning process and will increase students interest into the topic as well as the awareness of our modern diversities. The activities planned during the project will improve their digital competende, language competence and cultural awareness as well as some basic and at the same time necessary life skills such as reading comprehension, writing and counting. The students will have a chance to meet teenagers from different foreign countries and communicate in English and learn other European languages using online programmes: Facebook, Skype, etc. The practice will surely enhance their skills and motivation to study English in the classroom, when they realise how important it is in Europe nowadays in creating international contacts and carrying out certain tasks. Moreover, thanks to the project teachers have the possibility to practise and incorporate it into their teaching. Using modern tool, IT tools will prove how useful it is in learning and teaching process. The project's aim will be to show the young people that Europe should be considered their home and make them more flexible and adaptable to future demands.
