Children roam the streets as pedestrians, as riders and as passengers. Road safety awareness can help reduce the risk of serious injury among young children by assisting them to develop skills, knowledge and correct behavior regarding the safe use of roads. Our project aims to get children, parents and early childhood educators to work together in order to guide children into becoming safe and independent road users. Children can learn a lot about road safety using arts, literacy, role play and technology, while being actively engaged in creative project work together with their educators and families.
