Heirloom Seeds

The heirloom seed, the most important key to sustainable agriculture, is characterized by its unmodified genetics and ability to reproduce. As it maintains its natural DNA sequence, it serves as the foundation of sustainable farming. Since no laboratory intervention is involved, it does not exhibit any side effects and is considered one of the most sought-after varieties in the market. Genetically unaltered, natural, and self-renewing heirloom seeds open the door to environmentally friendly farming, preserving biodiversity and sustaining local agricultural traditions. In this project, children aged 5 to 14 will enjoy farming with heirloom seeds. Ƶing to farm with heirloom seeds at this age will not only teach them to respect nature and value the soil but also contribute to the preservation of local heritage. Additionally, they will share agricultural methods used in different countries, geographies, and climates, fostering an exchange of agricultural culture and knowledge. The sharing of agricultural methods from different countries will transform the project into an international learning platform. Children will observe how farming is practiced in various geographies and climates, gaining insights not only into agricultural techniques but also into cultural diversity. This process will be a significant step forward not only for the future of sustainable agriculture but also for global peace and understanding. Our project will last approximately six months.
